Sunday, 25th, 1995
Dearest My Diary,
My family is the Nguyen family, we are from London, England, and my grandparents were Vietnamese. We moved to Vietnam for travelling and visit my relatives for 2 years. My parents, they just have only child is me. My name is Louise, I’m 13 years old, and I’m a girl with black hair and red glasses. I’m live with my parents in Ho Chi Ming city. My parents are teachers in VUS Language School.
Today was a first day I come to AIS (American International School),that looked cool, I met Mr. Francis, he is a principal, then I took a entrance test, it was very hard to me, I did my best on it, but finally failed on my test. I was very sad about it, but I can go to immersion program, my parents made me so much better, they took me to the bookstore and bought for me many new books, I feel happy and really love my parents, we ate diner outside, we ate KFC, I like Vietnamese Ice-Cream.
Today was great day for me,

Monday, 26th 1995
Dearest my diary,
7:30, morning
I was carrying breakfast, a tray full of food; I hate those guys over there! They are totally impolite, they made fun at my old shoes, it was very old, but my family just moved to here, so I don’t know where I can buy new one. Finished breakfast without friend, I have no friend now, so lonely, I need a friend to teach me Vietnamese, I need a friend to share my stuffs, I need a friend just like in London, happy everyday! I was always feel happy, but not now, so tired to thinking about that, I want to see my parents right now, they can make me feel better.
6:00, afternoon
I went home, my parents have meeting with someone so I have to cook my dinner, I never cook before, but I could eat sandwich and cheese, I was enjoying my new books, it was great.

Tuesday, 27th 1995

Yeah! I had a new friend, her name is Yonni, and she’s a friendly girl!, I played table tennis with her, I’m not good at that but I like it!.
I was having fun with Yonni.
11:00
Where are my parents? Now is 11:00 midnight already! They are not here! Where are they? I was asking me!
Suddenly, someone from FV hospital called me and said that my parents got accident in traffic, I tried to get all my money to come there. It was so terrible, I cried a lot but I hope they will be find, no one could stop me! The red light of EMERGENCY room! It scared me! I was sleeping outside on the chair to wait for my parents, the doctors called me to go back home, because I’m too you g so I could do nothing for my parents.
I couldn’t leave it, I have to wait until I can see my parents face, I heard some of the nurse said,” Poor that little girl, her parents …”
one of those doctor came out and said:" i'm very sorry to tell you this news,it i couldn't save your parents, they're all ... dead, sorry but i did my best!"
i shouted a loud voice and then ran away.
i can't imagi0n that!
i hate that!
i don't wanna hear anything
they are idiots!!!
they couldn't save my parents.
But my destinies have to be a orphan child from now on, so I can’t go to AIS anymore, I can’t even meet Yonni.
I called Yonni to tell my entire story, she was quietly said,” I’m sorry I got to go now, bye, we can meet tomorrow!” but actually she knew that I have nobody now, I’m a poor girl and orphan now. So she just doesn’t care about me.
I got to die!
Good bye my diary
But my destinies have to be a orphan child from now on, so I can’t go to AIS anymore, I can’t even meet Yonni.
I called Yonni to tell my entire story, she was quietly said,” I’m sorry I got to go now, bye, we can meet tomorrow!” but actually she knew that I have nobody now, I’m a poor girl and orphan now. So she just doesn’t care about me.
